Bristol Bike Show 19.08.06

On Saturday we went into the Centre of Bristol to check out the local markets which are held most days of the week.

It is generally bigger on Saturday, and this particular Saturday just happened to also be the day of the Bristol Bike Show.

The bike show itself was a combination of stands promoting clothing and bikes, though to market stands, vintage display bikes, and generally lots of big bikies enjoying pints of beer while walking around looking at everyone else's bikes. Most people arrived on motorbikes at the event, as can be seen in the photos.

Groovy Scooters

Still ridden vintage...

Plenty of new and old motorbikes, harleys, scooters, and vintage. You name it, it was there.

We met some interesting people hosting many of the different motorbike stands, and in particular the Christian Motorcycle Association guys, who told us about their recent treks across Europe, and their time on the bike in the highlands of Scotland. I immediately suggested we should plan a similar trek up north on a bike, but Nada was not keen for some reason...
